How is Diversity Essentials workshops different or similar to other diversity, equity and inclusion workshops?

Based out of Winnipeg, Diversity Essentials workshops compliment services offered by many other organizations that deliver education and training. Diversity Essentials mutually supports and often co-collaborates with several local and national organizations providing high quality workshops, and consultation services to service providers. Diversity Essentials provides referrals should a request be out of scope or are unable to fulfill a workshop request.

Can training be delivered outside of Winnipeg?

Absolutely! Diversity Essentials trainers have delivered workshops and presentations throughout and beyond Manitoba. We have travelled throughout Canada and parts of the United States and the European Union. We welcome new opportunities to deliver our workshops and presentations at your location wherever you may be. Also, do consider an option for us to deliver sessions online.

The fees are beyond our budget. Are they negotiable?

Yes, fees are negotiable. Please keep in mind that Diversity Essentials operates from a social enterprise framework and receives no operating grants or funding. Fees are set according to industry standards and provide industry-appropriate wages to administrators, trainers, and individuals who are being mentored to lead workshops. Fees also support honorariums, lived-experience panelists as well as mental health and wellness supports.

What happens once I fill out a Workshop Request?

Once you fill out a request, one of our team members will be in contact with you either by email or by phone to discuss your workshop request. Usually you will be contacted within 3 working days. While we try our best to reply as quickly as possible, if your request is timeline and you do not receive a reply within our typical timeframe, feel free to reach out to us.
